Col. John Armellino, left, talks with 1st Lt. John O. Mutton Sept. 25 about the progress of the two new classrooms and bathroom being built at the Maoyon Elementary School in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. The new classrooms and bathroom will provide the resources necessary to teach more than 100 students. Armellino, a Newark, New Jersey native, is the chief of staff for 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
