Summary
Col. Ray Compton, commander, U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground, speaks directly to Sen. Jeff Flake, while Maj. Gen. Robert Ashley (left), commander, U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence, looks on at the Fort Huachuca’s Libby Army Air Field during a Dec. 18 Congressional visit that included: Sen. John McCain, Rep. Paul Gosar and Rep.-elect Martha McSally. Compton explained that the Army is able to test sophisticated intelligence systems at Fort Huachuca because of the unique synergy of the units based there, which allows earlier Soldier involvement in test and creates training opportunities for those involved.
