Combat Logistics Battalion 31 Marines go over Tactical Casualty Care during a Battle Skills Test class aboard the dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48), Philippine Sea , Jan. 24, 2019. The Marine Corps employs the Battle Skills Test program to ensure all Marines sustain basic combat skills and knowledge to be successful on the battlefield. CLB-31 is the Combat Logistics Element for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU partnering with Wasp ARG, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
