Congressman Joe Wilson, from South Carolina’s second district, visited leadership and troops Sept. 14, 2018, at the South Carolina Emergency Management Division in Pine Ridge, South Carolina. The SCEMD is made up of a consortium of South Carolina National Guard, state and local authorities and first responders who are working collaboratively throughout the state to respond to Hurricane Florence which landed on the North Carolina Coast this morning as a Category 1 Hurricane which brought high winds, rains and flooding to areas along the coast.
