Cpl. Dustin Dixon, a data network specialist with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Africa 13, helps fold an American flag during a flag-raising ceremony at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, Sept. 11, 2013, in remembrance of 9/11. The flag was purchased by service members with SP-MAGTF Africa, comprised mostly of reserve Marines from 4th Combat Engineer Battalion based out of Baltimore, Md. SP-MAGTF Africa strengthens U.S. Marine Corps Forces Africa and U.S. Africa Command’s ability to assist partner nations in theater security cooperation and military-to-military engagements.
