Crash Fire Rescue Marines work together to spray a mock helicopter crash during an aircraft mishap drill at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Wednesday. The intent of the drill was to highlight mishap and rescue procedures, and communications between participating units. Marine Aircraft Group 24, MCAS, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463, Water Front Operations, and the Federal Fire Department were a few agencies who participated in the drill. Crash sites were set up in two different locations, one at sea and the other on land, for the Marines, Sailors, and firefighters to rescue the victims and salvage the aircraft.
