Djiboutian Armed Forces (FAD) mount their positions in a HUMVEE before participating in mounted patrol training outside of Djibouti City, Djibouti, May 10, 2015. U.S. Army Soldiers from the 47th Transportation Company, 142nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 1st Armored Division Sustainment Brigade and the 123rd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division conduct convoy and mounted patrol drills. The training exercises are a culmination event for the FAD, happening for the first time after months of working with U.S. joint forces in an initiative to enhance the capability of the Djiboutian military.
