Expedition 14 FE Reiter work on POEMS payload in the U.S. Laboratory during Joint Operations

View of Astronaut Thomas Reiter, European Space Agency ESA Expedition 14 Flight Engineer FE, works with the Passive Observatories for Experimental Microbial Systems in Microgravity POEMS payload in the Minus Eighty Degree Laboratory Freezer for ISS MELFI in the U.S. Laboratory/Destiny. MELFI is a low temperature freezer facility with nominal operating temperatures of -80,-26 and +4 degrees Celsius that will preserve experiment materials over long periods.
