Firefighters from Selfridge Air National Guard Base

Firefighters from Selfridge Air National Guard Base participate in a series of exercises and drills while working at the fire training center operated by the Macomb Township Fire Department, just a few miles from the air base, May 1, 2015. Firefighters at Selfridge are required to be skilled in fighting potential structure fires as well as being able to respond to aircraft-related emergencies. The Selfridge Fire Department routinely interacts with a number of neighboring fire departments through a series of mutual aid agreements. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Terry Atwell)
