FORT BENNING, Ga. – Fort Benning officials videotape
Summary
FORT BENNING, Ga. – Fort Benning officials videotape a town hall meeting May 12 to update the public on measures here to stem the spread of COVID-19. Maj. Gen. Gary M. Brito (right), commanding general of the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence and Fort Benning said a few restrictions would be eased soon but that there would be no broadscale lifting of precautionary measures unless the pandemic in Georgia declines for 14 straight days, after which any new changes would be done only gradually and with caution. Also updating the community was Col. Matthew Scalia, commander of U.S. Army Garrison Fort Benning.
