FORT CARSON, Colo. — Wounded Warrior Tyler Wilson receives assistance crossing the log fire to finish the Spartan Sprint race May 6, 2018. Thousands of participants made Training Area 4 a personal playground over the weekend with not only adult participation, but kids ran the 1- and 2-mile heats on both days. From start to finish the athletes were challenged with hills, uneven terrain, obstacles, water and rattlesnakes as they completed the event.
