FORT FISHER, N.C. – In an assimilated field combat
Summary
FORT FISHER, N.C. – In an assimilated field combat lifesaver course, Pfc. Kwadwo Bosompem, of the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, runs into the line of fire to assess a fallen comrade during National Guard annual training here, June 17. Bosompem kept a cool head while he treated all the wounds on the medic dummy as Spc. Robert Tompkins (left) simulated sounds of incoming rounds and screams of agony from the victim. Tompkins, a medic with the 130th MEB, pushed the Soldiers by prompting them to think and react quickly to the victim’s wounds. (Photo by Army National Guard Sgt.
