From left to right, Capt. Zachary Passini, Mitsuru Namazue, Maj. Benjamin DeBardeleban, and Shigeo Ichiki pose in front of a MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft Sept. 29 here. DeBardeleban and Passini flew to Chichi Jima to demonstrate the far-reaching capabilities of the aircraft July 28, 2014. DeBardeleban, a Birmingham, Ala., native, is the executive officer with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Passini, a Wausau, Wisconsin native, is the flightline officer in charge with VMM-265. Namazue is the vice speaker of the Ogasawara Village Assembly.
