Gen. Craig McKinely, the chief of the National Guard Bureau coins New York Army and Air National Guard members set to serve as caddies for professional golfers during Military Appreciation Day event at The Barclay’s PGA Tour golf tournament at Bethpage State Park on Wednesday, Aug. 22. The service members are, Sgt 1st Class Jason Lehman, Army National Guard Spec. Rachel Ruiz-Ramos, and Air National Guard 2nd Lt. Shanning Pingatore. The PGA sponsored a special baby shower for 40 expecting wives of deployed soldiers –including five spouses of New York Army National Guard soldiers—as part of the events. Service members were also invited to caddy for the professional golfers and sic members of the New York Army and Air National Guard took advantage of that opportunity.
