Gen. David G. Perkins, the commanding general for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, pumps up the U.S. Army All-American Bowl East Team before the start of the game at the Alamodome Jan. 9. “Take a look at the colors you’re wearing,” said Perkins. “You’re wearing the same colors that the men and women of the United States Army are wearing overseas. You’re privileged to wear those colors.
