GULF OF THAILAND (March 1, 2020) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 conducts a vertical replenishment-at-sea with amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), San-Antonio Class amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Cesar Chavez (T-AKE 14) and fleet replenishment oilier USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194) in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2020, March 1, 2020. America Expeditionary Strike Group-31st Marine Expeditionary Unit is participating in Cobra Gold 20, the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific Region and an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
