HONK KONG (April 10, 2017) U.S. Marines and Sailors with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group/11th Marine Expeditionary Unit pose for a photo with children from Yan Chai Hospital Law Chan Chor Si Primary School in Hong Kong as part of a community relations event, April 10. During the event, Marines and Sailors shared stories about ship life, participated in several team games and sang along to “It’s a Small World” with the children. While visiting various ports, the service members aboard USS Makin Island are given the opportunity to partake in tours, recreational activities, and community relation events to experience the nation’s culture.
