Hurry up and waaaa ... - A black and white photo of a soldier sitting on a bench
Summary
FORT PICKETT, Va. (May 19, 2017) -- Staff Sgt. Kenford Duncan, a Rigger Course instructor, lets go a mouth-stretching yawn while awaiting the go-ahead for an airborne operation here April 20. Duncan and his fellow instructors were scheduled to jump after overseeing procedures leading to a career-defining jump undertaken by Rigger Course students who packed their own parachutes. Jumpers donned in full gear can sometimes wait for hours lying on a tarmac before being allowed to jump. Yawning -- and even napping -- are common sights among those marking time. The 11-week Rigger Course is taught at the U.S. Army Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Va.
