Summary

Iraqi national police of the 1st Battalion, 3rd Aburisha Brigade, attached to the 7th Brigade, 2nd National Police Division, search through chests, dressers, cabinets and cupboards, Dec. 30, 2008, during a combined cordon and search operation in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. The NP, partnered with Soldiers from 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, to search local neighborhoods in the Abu T'shir community for weapons and munitions. The Iraqi security forces regularly visit Iraqi residents to enforce the government of Iraq's "Weapons Free" Policy.
