James A. Shelley plays the banjo during the headlining concert of the 22nd Annual Camp Hansen Festival Sept. 3 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The annual festival is hosted by Camp Hansen to bring Status of Forces Agreement personnel and Okinawa residents together through food, games, rides and music. More than 12,855 attendees came together during the two-day event to enjoy the festivities and rock out to a free concert by the headlining band, American Authors. Shelley is a musician with American Authors and is a Tallahassee, Florida, native.
