JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Senior Airman Deshawn Jemison, a weapons load crewmember with the 67th Aircraft Maintenance Unit conducts an end-of-runway inspection on a 67th Fighter Squadron F-15C Eagle during Exercise Northern Edge 17(NE17) here May 4. The end-of-runway inspection is the last part of a preflight inspection, and is done just prior to the pilot taxiing the aircraft into position. NE17 is a joint training exercise involving more than 6,000 service members across all service branches.
