Summary
(PACIFIC OCEAN) - A U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point C-130 crew flies over the USS Crommelin, homeported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and the FSS Independence, a patrol boat from the Federated States of Micronesia, during a patrol in the Western Pacific Ocean, Thursday, June 25, 2009. Both the Coast Guard and Navy have shared goals of protecting the fragile ecosystems of Oceania as well as enforcing maritime laws throughout mutual areas of responsibility.
