LDEF (Postflight), M0006 : Space Environment Effects, Tray C02 The postflight photograph was taken in the Orbiter Processing Facility during the period when the LDEF was being transferred from the Orbiter cargo bay to the KSC Payload Transporter. The EECC containing the M0006 experiment appears to be in excellent shape after the sixty-nine (69) month mission. The lighting is such that details of changes to the surfaces of the base plate, the canister support rails or the canister's thermal covers can be determined.
