Leaders of the 3rd Kandak, 2nd Mobile Strike Force Brigade, Afghan National Army (ANA) 215th Corps, observe their soldiers firing heavy machine guns, which was the culminating event of a four-week train-the-trainer course at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, Feb. 27, 2018. The course, taught by Marine advisors of Task Force Southwest, covered heavy machine guns, turret operations, electronic counter measures, and land navigation GPS operations. Soldiers who completed the course are now certified to teach at the lower unit level, which will bolster the ANA’s technical skills and warfighting capabilities.
