(Left-right) Spc. Kedith Jacobs, an Atlanta native; Staff Sgt. Christopher Ross, a Tomball, Texas native; and Spc. Aaron Olson, a Streamwood, Ill., native all work together to connect the SIPR-NIPR Access Point, more commonly known as a SNAP Terminal. The self-contained satellite system combines voice and data lines through a secure network at Combat Outpost Sultan Kheyl located in southern Wardak province. The command post node team is attached to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment. The infantry battalion is part of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division and is deployed from Fort Bliss, Texas.
