Lithuanian soldiers defend their position with anti-tank
Summary
Lithuanian soldiers defend their position with anti-tank weaponry during a combined exercise “Savage Wolf” with U.S. Soldiers from Company B, 1st Battalion, 68th Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, out of Fort Carson, Colo., as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, April 4. The U.S. and Lithuanian Soldiers are split into two integrated teams and are given either an offensive role in taking an ‘airfield’ or defensive role to keep their position on the ‘airfield’. The U.S. and our Allies and partners are making strides toward interoperability by continuously training together and implementing innovative solutions to common problems. Operation Atlantic Resolve is a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
