Maj. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, U.S. Army Africa Commanding

Maj. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, U.S. Army Africa Commanding General, references the Army’s concept of ‘Win in a Complex World’ to attendees of the USARAF Senior Leader Strategy and Orientation Session, during his opening remarks in the Golden Lion conference center, Aug. 19 at Vicenza, Italy. The session is designed to help the USARAF team share ideas and experience, as well as an opportunity to get the latest information from U.S. Africa Command and European partners. The session also offers a venue for fresh perspectives as new personnel and spouses are introduced. Some of the other topics discussed during this session include security cooperation, role of and responsibilities of an Army Service Component Command, and various briefings from fellow AFRICOM units.
