Summary

Maj. Gen. Michael Stone, Task Force Center commanding general, provides guidance to members of the 62nd Medical Brigade, based out of Joint Base Lewis-McCord, Wash, during the joint reception, staging, onward movement, and integration training in Bismarck, N.D., Nov. 20, 2020. These Air Force nurses will work alongside civilian counterparts to support North Dakota hospitals as they assist in the mitigation of the COVID-19 virus. The U.S. Air force nurses are supporting six hospitals across North Dakota: CHI St. Alexius, Bismarck; Sanford Health Bismarck; Altru Health System, Grand Forks; Sanford Health Fargo; Trinity Hospital-St. Joseph’s, Minot; and Essentia Health Fargo. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-America COVID-19 response. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
