Gurridalla means Eagle Hawk in Darumbal. The dance was performed on Open Day, a day in which the joint military forces invite the public to view their equipment. Talisman Saber is jointly sponsored by the U.S. Pacific Command and the Australian Defence Force Headquarters Joint Operations Command and incorporates U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force and the Australian Defence Force as well as other government agencies from each country.
