MARINE CORPS TRAINING AREA BELLOWS, Hawaii (OCTOBER 20, 2016) - Marines pause before moving to secure a road at their objective area while conducting a helo-borne raid during the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s sustainment exercise aboard Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii, Oct. 20, 2016. SUSTEX provided the MEU another training repetition, using Marine Corps ranges, as they make their way through the pacific. The MEU is currently underway on its Western Pacific 16-2 deployment with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group. The Marines are with Company C, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 4th Marines.
