Marines and Sailors prepare to board a U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, forward deployed to Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, in preparation to conduct helicopter suspension transportation training where they lift a Humvee from the deck of the amphibious transportation dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) during Blue Chromite 2017 in Okinawa, Japan, October 31, 2016. Blue Chromite is a U.S. –only exercise which strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps expeditionary, amphibious rapid-response capabilities based in Okinawa and the greater Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
