Summary

Marines from Portugal, England and the United States conduct a highly coordinated beach assault in front of a crowd of high ranking military generals, political and defense officials from a wide range of NATO countries. This demonstration showed how NATO allies and partners can work together to execute a powerful amphibious landing. Other demonstrations showed ground assaults and air superiority by similar military units participating in Exercise Trident Juncture 15. The exercise includes more than 30 nations improving the NATO team’s capability to respond to threats together.
