Marines get hands on with members of the public while demonstrating the capabilities of modern day Marine Corps weapons systems during Fleet Week New York 2012's Marine Day in Battery Park May 25. Marine Day events are scheduled to take place in Times Square May 26 and 27 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fleet Week New York 2012 allows more than 3,000 Marines, Sailors and Coast Guardsmen to participate in community outreach events and equipment demonstrations sharing with the public what the military services do every day.
