Marla Nauni, a Native American performer and motivational speaker, shows her traditional Comanche battle dress to Fort McCoy, Wis., community members Nov. 13, 2017, at the National American Indian Heritage Month event at McCoy’s Community Center. Nauni is Seneca, Comanche, and Huron Band of Potawatomi and a model, actress, and singer. She has released two albums, “Comanche Hymns I” and Comanche Hymns II,” and has performed at The National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., and Fort Shafter, Hawaii, among others.
