Master Chief Petty Officer Frank Johnson, the command master chief of II Marine Expeditionary Force, addresses sailors with the Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force during a command visit at the GCEITF battalion aid station, Sept. 11, 2014. Johnson received feedback from the sailors about the unit and their thoughts on actively being a supporting element of the assessment. From October 2014 to July 2015, the Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force will conduct individual and collective level skills training in designated ground combat arms occupational specialties in order to facilitate the standards based assessment of the physical performance of Marines in a simulated operating environment performing specific ground combat arms tasks.
