Members of the 113th Wing DC Air National Guard receive

Members of the 113th Wing DC Air National Guard receive a Joint Reception, Staging, Onward Movement and Integration (JRSOI) briefing at Joint Base Andrews Aug. 27 in support of the March on Washington Aug. 28 in the nation's capital. Guard members were deputized and briefed on rules of force, rules of conduct, crowd management and operations security. The one day mission is in support of District and federal agencies to ensure public safety and secure assembly of residents and visitors to the nation’s capital. Members of the 113th Wing will operate under Taskforce Metro and will be staged at Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) metro stations to assist with pedestrian traffic and crowd control.
