Members of the DLA Distribution Expeditionary team

Members of the DLA Distribution Expeditionary team mobilized for duty at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama Aug. 28 in response to the pending landing of Hurricane Dorian. The mission for the DDXX team is to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency by establishing an Incident Support Base. From that base supplies are tracked as they come in and as they are distributed when needed. Here members of the team are loading their prepackaged equipment on nine different trucks that will arrive to meet the 20 deployed members as they begin work establishing the base. Here Carlos Fernandez waits to drive a truck onto a lowboy so that it can deploy with the team.
