U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman Third Class Brandin Huggett, from the Ticonderoga Class Guided Missile Cruiser USS ANZIO (CG 68) rescue and assistance team, provides medical aid to a crew member from the motor vessel AL SHAMS, a Pakistani-flagged dhow on November 13, ,2006. The ANZIO provided the dhow crew with water, food and medical attention. Summary

Members of the Dominican Republic Red Cross participated in flood-evacuations as part of Fuerzas Aliadas Humanitarias 2019 disaster-response simulations at Centro Educativo Los Guaraguaos near Bajo Yuna May 9, 2019. FA-HUM 19 is a U.S. Army South-sponsored foreign humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise designed to build U.S. partner nation’s capacity for civil and military response to major disasters. More than 100 national experts from over 13 Latin American countries will operate jointly throughout FA-HUM 19 simulations and training events from May 6 - 17, 2019 in the Dominican Republic.
