Members of the Guatemalan Brigada de Infanteria de Marina (BIM) hand out stuffed animals to the teachers of the Escuela Oficial Los Mixta #1 Mariono Galvez, Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, July 31, 2014. Members of the Guatemalan BIM visited the school as part of a community relations project in order to break negative associations from military actions conducted in the past.The U.S. Marine Civil Affairs (CA) team for Southern Partnership Station 2014 was invited to observe the BIM's civil military operations capabilities.
