Members of the official party from the U. S. Air Force and Navy watch as the services honor guard and bands perform and march during a parade at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling as the base celebrates its 100th Anniversary Jul 3, 2018. Bolling Field was officially dedicated on 1 July, 1918, after the property was purchased by the War Department and turned over to the Aviation Section of the Signal Corps to serve as the primary aviation facility for the capital city.
