Members of the U.S. Air Force 36th Expeditionary Contingency
Summary
Members of the U.S. Air Force 36th Expeditionary Contingency Response Squadron, from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, conduct pre-jump, or airborne sustainment, training during Talisman Sabre 2011. The 36th ECRS members are practicing different parachute landing postures in preparation for a static line jump from a C-17 Globemaster. Talisman Sabre 2011 is an exercise designed to train U.S. and Australian forces to plan and conduct combined task force operations to improve combat readiness and interoperability on a variety of missions from conventional conflict to peacekeeping and humanitarian efforts.
