"MHG Got 'Em" wins 2nd place. U.S. Marine expeditionary force

Marines with the flag football team, “MHG Got ‘Em,” are awarded a trophy for winning 2nd place in the Northern Camps Commanders Cup Flag Football Championship Oct. 9 at the III Marine Expeditionary Force headquarters building on Camp Courtney. The Marines practiced for two weeks in preparation for the tournament. The team played five games, ending the championship with three wins and two losses. “My favorite part about this was getting out there with all of the other Marines,” said Staff Sgt. Brian Joseph, a reserve transition coordinator with G-1, administration, III MEF. “All of the Marines were from different shops and got (to play) together, and it helped build camaraderie.” The Marines are with various units in III MEF.
