Moore, Okla., May 23, 2013 -- This Briarwood Elementary School student embraces a kitten provided by the Oklahoma Animal Control as consolation for the fact she was not able to retrieve her backpack containing manuscripts of stories she had written. Today at the destroyed school, fire officials were on hand to escort teachers and others to the remains of their rooms to retrieve possessions before the school is demolished next week.
