NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (June 6, 2019) U.S. Marine Brig. Gen. Matthew Trollinger (right), commanding general of Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, and Lt. Col. John Skutch, TF 51/5 security manager, cut a ribbon to declare the unit’s official move into its new permanent command post at NSA Bahrain during a ceremony. TF 51/5 is entrusted with rapidly aggregating crisis response capabilities and positioning Navy and Marine Corps forces throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility to ensure command and control of forces at sea, from the sea, and ashore.
