Oklahoma National Guardsmen don protective equipment
Summary
Oklahoma National Guardsmen don protective equipment — including boots, suits, face shields, face masks and two layers of sealed gloves — and prepare Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-recommended cleaning solutions before entering a longterm healthcare facility in McAlester, Okla., April 22, 2020. The Guardsmen broke into two teams of five Soldiers each to cover nearly every room within the building while disinfecting floors, walls and commonly touched surfaces in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 among the elderly and particularly vulnerable populations of Oklahoma in support of the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
