Oregon Army National Guard Spc. Korina Mitchell from the Kosovo Force Regional Command East’s Kilo 21 liaison monitoring team delivers sensory items and personal hygiene products to the non-government organization Handikos Sept. 18, 2020, in Ferizaj/Urosevac, Kosovo. Since its founding in 1983, Handikos has dedicated its work to the improvement of the quality of life in children and adults with disabilities. The NGO advocates for the rights of the disabled community, encourages their full integration into society, and provides services at over a dozen offices throughout Kosovo. K21 LMT is responsible for promoting positive community relationships between KFOR personnel and key leaders and organizations within their area of operations. KFOR values positive community relationships with NGOs like Handikos and remains committed to its shared mission of ensuring the safety, security, and improved social development for all the people in Kosovo in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
