Participants finish the first lap of the Centennial Quantico 100, held at Butler Stadium on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., April 29, 2017. U.S. Marines, their families, and Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) running enthusiasts, participated in the Quantico 100, a 100-minute running challenge to accumulate as much mileage as possible, including a free post-event concert featuring the group “Captain and the Mandrakes.” This race, hosted by the MCM, was one of several events to mark the 100 year anniversary of the founding of Marine Corps Base Quantico in 1917.
