Personnel from No. 3 Aero Medical Evacuation Squadron board a C-27J Spartan airplane to prepare the craft for transporting medical patients leaving Exercise Talisman Sabre July 18, 2019 at Rockhampton Airport. No. 3 Aero Medical Evacuation Squadron is providing medical support to troops participating in Talisman Sabre 2019, a bilateral combined Australian and United States exercise designed to train respective military services in planning and conducting Combined and Joint Task Force operations, and improve the combat readiness and interoperability between Australian and US forces.
