Christopher Thompson, a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, 3rd Brigade, has his parachute checked in preparation for a jump with jumpmasters from allied nations on Dec. 4, 2015, Fort Bragg, N.C. Partner nation jumpmasters are at Fort Bragg in support of the 18th Annual Operation Toy Drop. Operation Toy Drop is the world’s largest combined airborne operation and collective training exercise with seven partner-nation paratroopers who participated and allowed Soldiers the opportunity to help children in need receive toys for the holidays. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
