Summary
Philippine Marines load onto a U.S. Marine MV-22 Osprey prior to conducting static line parachute training during exercise KAMANDAG 3 at Fort Magsaysay, Luzon, Philippines on Oct. 10, 2019. Bilateral training between U.S. and Philippine armed forces at KAMANDAG 3 gives the two allies the ability to rapidly respond and effectively work together during real world scenarios. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnerships between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
